I believe we all have the power to create the lives we want for ourselves despite the families we were born into, the choices we have made, and the experiences we have had. Everyone has a unique personal story. I am passionate about women’s issues, trauma informed care and allowing individuals to be truly seen and heard. Recently, I worked with survivors of intimate partner violence and I recognize the importance of creating a safe, non-judgmental space for survivors to be believed and validated. I am also a wife and mother and I understand the unique complexities and demands associated with these roles. I am interested in supporting individuals to build the tools and skills necessary to create the life they want.
As your therapist I will use an integrative approach to identify your individual needs and implement modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Mindfulness. These modalities will help you reflect on how you view yourself and identify your inner strengths to support your personal growth.
I am a Professional Counselor Associate in partnership with Mindful Therapy Group, providing therapy under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from Antioch University Seattle.
